I noticed that there are profiles in my nVidia Control Panel for Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD and Design Review. To force Windows to use a GPU for a particular app using the Windows display settings, follow the steps below:ġ.Global Settings | Program Settings > Preferred graphics processor setting. If the OS does not specify a graphic processor preference for a given application, then users can specify the preferred graphics processor to use from the NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > The graphics processor that the Windows 10 OS selects overrides any settings made in the NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings | Program Settings >Preferred graphics processor setting for that application. ![]() Consequently, the “Run with graphics processor” option is no longer available from the context menu in Windows Update as there was in previous OS versions.
